In more not-too-astonishing restaurant news, Space Aliens has closed in Grand Forks and in Minot, according to the Minot Daily News.
Food Management Investors Inc., which owns the restaurants, cites weak business for the closure. Abe Saka, Chief Operating Officer, said it’s just a business decision and they “tried everything” to make the restaurant successful.
Employees have been offered opportunities to work in other FMI restaurants, so there’s that.
There are other Space Aliens locations in Bismarck, Fargo, Albertville, MN, and Waite Park, MN.
Back in April, I tried out the ribs at Space Aliens and found them seriously lacking. Food and drink prices were also way too high for the quality.
